On a beautiful spring day at the University of St. Thomas O'Shaughnessy stadium, the Tommies continued their balanced scoring and defensive intensity to beat the Bethel Royals 21 - 2. WIth sunny skies and game time temperatures in the lower 60's, the large crowd of students, alumni, and family members enjoyed another Tommie victory.
Leading the charge offensively with 3 goals each were Seniors Andrew Larson and Jason King and Junior Joe Costello. From the defensive side, Senior Derek Michalski and Sophomore Jesse Amar added goals of their own. Before the day was over, 12 different Tommies had each scored. Included in the scoring was Freshman Ryan Beeson who notched his first goal as a Tommie.
At halftime, the 2009 Minnetonka Skippers Boys lacrosse team was introduced and honored for their State Championship achievment. The Tommies' own Pete Carbonneau was a member of that team.
