It's been 25 years since lacrosse first began at St. Thomas back in 1985. While the sport has come a long way in that time, the love of the game and the spirit in which it is played is still strong.
The 2010 team wants to thank all of the Tommie "pioneer" players from earlier years for what they have given to the program. The team would like to honor them and all who supported UST lacrosse in this journey. For we are truly "one team!"
To commemorate its 25th anniversary, UST has invited any member of the 1985 team to come to O'Shaughnessy Stadium to be introduced as part of the UST lacrosse's very first "Ring of Honor" ceremony.
The ceremony will be at half-time of the game against St. Olaf on Sunday morning, April 25th. Game start time is 10:30 AM and the half-time ceremony is expected to start at approximately 11:15 AM.
We also hope Tommie fans will enjoy photos from the early years of UST lacrosse (see link below). Thank you all past UST lacrosse players. "One team!"
